We had an incredible stay at Marj & Bruce's charming countryside cottage. The property is beautifully maintained and equipped with everything a family could need—from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy living spaces. The surrounding area is peaceful and scenic, perfect for relaxation and nature walks. A highlight was the lovely forest area just steps from the cottage, complete with hammocks where we could unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. We also made great use of the pool, which was available to us daily and provided a refreshing break during the warm afternoons. Marj and Bruce were exceptional hosts, always on hand to assist and offer great local recommendations, making our stay even more enjoyable. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

What a nice place for a wonderful holiday! We found the cottage really beautiful and spacious, furnished with care, well maintained and fully equipped. In the kitchen and laundry room we found everything you need. We enjoyed the big garden, the swimming pool and the surrounding area with our children aged 10, 13 and 15. Your hospitality and kindness made our holiday unforgettable, and we look forward to our next visit.
We spent three wonderful days at the Fox House. The house is spacious and has a lot of charm, with careful decoration and impeccable cleanliness. In the evening, we also took advantage of the wood stove in the living room. The garden is a haven of peace, next to a wood, nature is abundant there (insects, birds, and we even heard large animals passing by, probably deer). The children really liked the swings and the hammocks hanging from the trees. We discovered the wood-heated bathtub on the terrace under the starry sky. The hosts are very attentive, welcoming and available, while remaining discreet. Thank you very much, Marj and Bruce, for this stay!

What a beautiful, superbly positioned and and extremely well equipped cottage. Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating to our specific needs. They went above and beyond our expectations, even ensuring the fire was lit and cottage was toasty on arrival. We have had such a relaxing time and will definitely be back

We stayed as a family of six and it is just as the other reviews say: Marj and Bruce are warm, welcoming, caring, helpful and fun hosts with lots of tipps. The cottage is just beautiful with EVERYTHING you need, it's peaceful and spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. There are lots of places to relax inside and outside with a pool that is not only fun for kids but for adults as well. The countryside is stunning with ancient villages and sunflower fields. La Maison des Renards is a refuge and it was hard to leave.

If you are looking for a rural retreat in the peaceful French countryside I don’t think you could do better than this beautiful property. The property is immaculate, with lovely original features and extremely well equipped. All the rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable and the outdoor space and pool area an oasis of tranquility.
Marj and Bruce are fabulous hosts and made our family feel extremely welcome. They had literally thought of everything we could need during our stay and their advice and local knowledge was an added bonus.
The surrounding area is lovely and numerous beautiful villages and other attractions are within a short car drive. A large well stocked supermarket is located nearby, along with more characterful French shops and bars.
I would give this property 10/10 and hope to return soon.

My family stayed at Maison des Renards last summer and had a wonderful stay. The house is lovely and has absolutely everything you need. The location is brilliant and the grounds are beautifully kept. Marj and Bruce are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. The house is very kid friendly too. I would definitely recommend.
